Angel Surgery

Test results

If you have registered for online services, you can use your Patient Access account (on the Patient Access website or in the Patient Access app) to view your test results online.

If you do not have access to online services, you can fill in a test results request form.

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and only call the surgery after sufficient time has elapsed.

Your GP has access to results of your investigations at his home. Your GP downloads the investigations sent by various sources and looks at the incoming electronic investigations. Any investigation that requires action is put in the ‘action folder’ for the receptionist to take appropriate action as determined by your GP, to discuss with your GP.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results and thus it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
